Brooklynn's first Book

Brooklynn's teacher gave select students in her class an opportunity to participate in the Fresno County Young Authors' Faire. Brooklynn was required to do a rough draft, final draft and illustrate. I'm so proud of what she came up with. She did a wonderful job and she is so proud of her work and is excited to turn it in tomorrow. She keeps telling me that she hopes it wins her some money. That girl is too funny!

My new look

So what do my peeps think about the new me? If you want to be cool like me go to this awsome website http://thecutestblogontheblock.com/. It's all free and has step by step instructions for the "blog challenged" like me!

Superbowl

Well we had our first Superbowl party last weekend. We had 6 couples and 13 children! I was a little nervous about how to keep 13 kids entertained for 5 hours but I have to say it was easy! I can't take all the credit though, with the wonderful weather that day all the kids wanted to do was play outside! Yea for Sunshine!!! We had a great time seeing all of our friends and stuffing ourselves until we (or atleast me) burst. I hope to be able to get together with everyone again soon!

A mind of her own

Well to borrow this title from my friend Amy's blog seem appropriate. We both have a child who likes to express themselves in ways that..... well.....we will say "tests our limits". These are pictures of Brooklynn after being told to "get dressed to go". Anyone who knows me, knows that this is not something I would let her wear out of the house. But I guess you just gotta let a girl be herself. God help me....ha ha

Yes this is a dress over pants with a shirt over the top. She said she was cold in her dress.....

Daddy's are special

I love this picture of Joe and the kids. He has taught them the joy of dipping your grilled cheese in tomato soup. They were thrilled to share this special moment with Daddy.
